Athletic, highflying, and strong AF though. The kind of guy who couldn't be a heel. Character and mic skills are nearly non existent though. Don't quite know why he's called up before it feels like he's even developed. But good for him. That being said, Bobby Lashley has been nothing short of great for the past year or so in TNA. Junkyard Dog
I hope they use this Reigns/Styles match as an opportunity to turn Reigns into a heel. That would be best for business. Or when Rollins come back and do a double turn the next PPV where Reigns joins the authority and they betray Rollins. Pipe dream I know. Reigns is a terrible face. If he is going to be forced down our throats then at least make it make sense to hate him. Waste of potential really.

I wasn't saying that as a knock against Lashley, though I've historically not been for the guy at all. His and Crews' wrestling, style and persona are just really nothing alike. They just have similar looks. With Lashley I've been liking him a lot more since his turn on Angle. His face and voice still don't properly represent the rest of him, but he has been looking good in beating others up. I haven't watched yesterday's Impact episode yet, but I assume he left Pope as a mess on the ground.

Reigns joining The Authority makes no sense at all with all they've done to Roman and screwed him time and again. If he turns heel, he should do so alone. Still think Jericho will somehow cost Styles, so protects him from losing clean to Roman. I hope the reddit guy is right about The Authority ending real soon and going away for awhile. the last outlaw
Makes you wonder if Vince is testing the water on Styles. Similar to Jericho and how he defeated HHH for World Title on Raw in 2000.

Also if done right they could turn Rollins face in the process if he does come back soon to challenge for the title. We've seen Stone Cold join the Corporation ffs. Reigns joining the authority would be a 100 times better than what they have going right now.
Twilight Sparkle
they can have roman join the authorty-- even after everything they put him through, come up with some bs reason for him realizing his destiny or whatever, tired of trying to please the fans, meh meh, we've seen it done a thousand times before. set that up with the beloved authority opening promo with triple h welcoming back seth rollins, rollins eats a pedigree, triple h calls out their new guy roman, then get that nucelar heat on him by saying that the authority always wins having roman as a heel alone makes no sense. better to surround him with triple h and steph so that he can learn how to be a heel. the guy can't float as a face, he'll sink as a heel. he can't handle the crowds. a smug look can only get you so far with the heat he gets until the crowds start getting it, and then start amusing themselves during his matches with boring chants, michael cole, jbl, byron saxton, cm punk, you name it. the guy needs a supporting cast Edited April 6, 2016 by Twilight Sparkle
the last outlaw
Roman sounded like a heel on Raw with his promo. "Aww, come on. I'm not a bad guy. Not a good guy. I'm the guy."
the last outlaw
I'm tired of The Authority. I'd rather see Vince bring back The Corporation and be the leader/head of it, again. Yes, I realize The Authority is exactly the same. Only difference is we've seen the same thing over and over from HHH and Steph for how many years now. the last outlaw
Shaq says he wants to wrestle Big Show at WM next year in Orlando. They should do it. Finally, have a payoff to when Shaq/Big Show had a confrontation on Raw few years back when Shaq was guest host, and called Big Show "fat boy". the last outlaw
Undertaker was telling people backstage at WM that his match with Shane was his last. He's said this in the past and still continues to wrestle. He's advertised to wrestle on the upccoming European Tour. Undertaker was backstage at Raw, but wasn't used. the last outlaw
Bret gives his thoughts on WM. Summary courtesy of reddit. He's spot on with most of what he says. Quote Disappointed with WrestleMania booking. Says "logic didn't prevail" and the booking "wasn't up to snuff" He was the man who brought ladder matches to the WWE and can't believe what a "piece of $&!# match" it's turned into Disappointed in the IC Title ladder match. "A lot of bull$&!#, a lot of wasted moves, too much laying around". Calls it a prop match. "Stupid spots that make no sense". Still calls the match the best match on the card Says he'd line all the bookers up against the wall and shoot them "Real wrestling is almost dead. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Bret Hart, that kind of wrestling is almost dead" Thought AJ was going to win against Jericho. Called AJ one of the better wrestlers in the company right now, but said the match seemed too choreographed Says he hates the Calf Crusher. "Looks like you just gently brush someone's stomach on the ground". Thought New Day's entrance was pretty cool, even though he didn't understand it that much Thought it was great to get HBK, Mick and Austin on the show, but thought it was insane to have the babyfaces lose and then have the legends beat both the heels and the babyfaces "Real mistake" to put LoN over New Day. Win at WrestleMania for New Day would have been great for them. Jokes that maybe Stephanie's kids booked the segment Really likes Barrett. Says he's done the best with the lame gimmicks he's been given. Thinks Japan may be "his cup of tea". Compares Barrett to Drew Mcintyre. Both really good talents that were never used correctly Said he'd really like to work with Rusev and Sheamus in the ring. It meant a lot that they cited him as a "dream opponent" and "inspiration" at Axxess Said he liked Ambrose vs Lesnar because "it did what it was supposed to do". Also says Kendo Sticks hurt. "Wasn't the most exciting, but it was credible and real so points for that". Thinks blood would have made a huge difference Nakamura vs Zayn was the best match of the whole WrestleMania weekend. Asuka vs Bayley was better than any match on the WrestleMania card NXT is bringing "real wrestling" to the surface. RAW and WM is "a bunch of morons that sit around creating wrestling. Just writers from Hollywood who don't know anything about the business. Just Vince Russo's in a different uniform" Everything about Nakamura vs Zayn (from entrances to handshake) was "beautiful wrestling". Made Bret stand and salute. Said the finish to Asuka vs Bayley was also beautiful The Diva's tag match on the WM pre show was "awesome". Everyone worked hard and got their spots in and he really enjoyed it Thought Sasha Banks should have won the title. It was her night and it was another bad booking decision Becky and Sasha Banks were great in the ring and were carrying the match. Constantly refers to Becky as "the Irish girl" "Charlotte had a lot of holes in her work and you can tell that she's still really green. She's NOT the world's champion. I love Ric Flair and I love Charlotte, she's a great girl but she is SO green and if you know wrestling you know she is not the best one out there. She's there because of her father" "Nattie is strictly there to groom [Charlotte] and teach her and give her great matches. Charlotte will eventually get there." "I like Shane, but the reality of it is that he's not a wrestler". Says his little punches were terrible Said he predicted the finish of the match easily Liked the Shaq cameo in the ARMBAR. Doesn't know anything about Baron Corbin, but didn't have a problem with the ARMBAR at all Regarding The Rock's segment: "For me it was just another example of dweebs sitting around a table writing wrestling". Called the whole segment "overly scriped bull$&!#" "Truth is The Rock probably showed up and got a bigger paycheck than all the girls, all the midcard guys. You could probably stack up all the paychecks of all the girls and all the Cody Rhodes' in the back and it wouldn't come close to Shaq's pay or The Rock's and that's bull$&!#. These are the guys and girls on the road 300 days per year, not The Rock" Says HHH's entrance was like some weird fantasy, including Steph in black spandex Wasn't offended by the main event, but nothing made him say "wow, I have to watch this again". Cites Shawn vs Taker as a match that made him do that Finish of the match was "phony bull$&!# wrestling" and lacklustre. 5/10 for Wrestlemania Says the 2 Japanese wrestlers (Nakamura and Asuka) had the best matches of the weekend and those 2 are so far ahead of everyone else in WWE. Says The Rock and Shaq should give their pay to Nakamura, Asuka, Zayn and Bayley "There was magic this weekend, but it wasn't at WrestleMania"

This is a guy that they have been trying to force into being their top babyface moneymaker for the last 2 years. But I mean they did just throw their most unanimously positively received babyface (not named Ambrose), in AJ Styles up against him for the title, so maybe they're trying something a little new with him. What he did on Smackdown helped that case as well. We're talking about their biggest project though, that they move heaven and earth to micromanage. I just think of whatever this is as a minor and temporary course correction to mitigate and work through the massive negative nature of the people's response to him, before they continue to move forward as intended with him. Else Wrestlemania 32 would not have been proceeded towards and ended the same way, amidst said massively negative response.
