The prize money is a nice idea, but it wouldn't re-create the intensity you get when 2 points are on the line. I agree, a tour like that would sell out, but it would have a short life span. It would be a series of exhibition games that only lead to more exhibition games. Once the novelty wore off, the attendance and TV ratings would evaporate. Anything league started by then would therefore become the best league in the world and any thing the NHL puts together may have a bigger areana and more established team names and logo's but there play would be inferior.
