Yes.

"M-O-O-N, that spells 'Crap'."

yeah, seen again a few years ago and felt the same way. The Harold character was not at all like he was described in the book. I personally think they should have gotten Marc Price who played Skippy on Family ties to play Harold.

Star Trek Beyond - 5/10

This should have been a much better movie. It had some really funny 1-liners. A fantastic actor to play a villain with an interesting back-story. The action scenes were very well done. But all of it was wasted on terrible writing.

There was no real character development, and no real insight into why everyone was doing what they were doing. They just skimmed the surface of plot development to get to the next action sequence. And yet, despite that, there were long sequences where nothing much was happening. So it didn't even make for an above-average action movie either.

Agreed.  The one with Khan was really good!  This new one was not very good at all.

The Time Traveler's Wife - 7.5/10

Without having read the book, I already believe that the book would've been a better work of art than the movie. The movie was fine. It looks nice and Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams were good. Rachel is always good. But the script is clearly is a result of a woman's story re-written from the man's point of view, like how Henry disappears for two weeks and the first thing we see is Clare putting him through the guilt trip. It shouldn't have been call The Time Traveler's Wife. It should've been called The Time Traveler.

better than i had expected. not one to comment on this type of thing normally, but natalie portman seems like she really, really needs to gain 20 pounds

10. If you give them permission to gain 20 they'll gain 30.

So give them 10 and they'll gain 15, which is fine.

She was never remotely big but has she tried to overcompensate since having kids and going Angelina Jolie level "Hollywood skinny'?

Because she used to be petite and quite yummy IMO and that would make J.R. sad :(

why do i feel so uncomfortable reading you talk in the third person while referring to someone as "petite and quite yummy"

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. 8/10.

The Audi commercial came on yesterday with the Pure Imagination song, and it made me think how much I wanted to watch that movie! I pulled up the Guide, and it was playing on AMC at 11:30PM, so I watched it.

i hereby declare april, 2017 to be David Lynch Month

i will make my way through his entire catalogue of goodness and trash (EXCEPT maybe not Dune) in anticipation of Twin Peaks. you all are invited.

seen lots of it already, but with the exception of the Elephant Man and some TP episodes, I haven't seen anything for YEEEARS, some (like Lost Highway) I can't remember a single thing about

Ghost in the Shell: 7.8/10.  I liked it.  Not a super big fan of the nerdy rants in the TV show unlike some of my friends, and was kinda glad the storyline was simple and straightforward (maybe that loses it a few points in the ratings department, but good enough in my books).  Movie looks superb- gots me stoked for the new blade runner.  I was skeptical ScarJo could pull off the stunt work but she did a convincing job.

Cocaine Cowboys 1&2.  8.5/10 Finally got around to these two.  Thoroughly entertained.
