73 Percent
The coach gave clear and specific goals for each person on the ice. Something SA never does.

RunningWild
You don't play sports do you? You play where you are supposed to play, if a teammate is out of position you do not go out of yours to help cover his.
Smashian Kassian
Tanev was covering Connauton who was out of postion. As usual, he was trying to do 2 jobs. Didn't work this time, though it usually does. Not Tanevs fault.

surtur
Haven't seen a lot of Kassian this year, but based on tonight he looks really good out there tbh. His foot speed is exceptional for a guy his size, and he clearly has excellent athleticism. Strong edge work and agility slows him to be agile despite his size. Based on what I've seen from him he's blessed with long limbs which provide excellent propulsion from a bit of a choppy stride. If he works on developing his stride length and skating technique he'll become harder to contain and an even better skater. With that said, his hockey IQ is a tad lacking. Some guys just have that ability to read the play and make the right play based on instinct, and that's never gonna be Kassian. Instead, he learns by repetition of making the right or wrong play and learning from it. Just give him time, once bis ability to make the right play catches up with the rest of his game hell be a beast of a player. There's not a lot of guys that combine size with mobility the way Kassian can, he just needs to work on finishing ability and hockey sense. He's got the tools you just can't teach, now he just needs to put in the work to become complete player!
Smashian Kassian
"Winning is so much better for developing players" Lol so that's why Columbus has been so bad at developing players.

Smashian Kassian
Better put Kassian out there, he probably our best player when it comes to playing down low.
SamJamIam
Look at Arniel during the timeout. He's just rambling. Sterling, Kass, Haydar are all trying to look like they give a crap but he's not actually giving them a battle plan.

Smashian Kassian
Schroeder, Rodin, Kassian, Andersson and Tanev looked good, Even Connaution had his moments. We have the talent and ability, I think this game a perfect reminder that a coaching change is needed.
