Pasific Coluseum
The Canucks have a bad habit with unsuccessfully grooming young small forwards. Raymond, shirokov, Schroeder are busts who haven't lived up to their potential! Remember cliff running, Pavel bure, brenden Morrison? Why can't the Canucks develop small forwards who live up to their hype I.e gionta, parise, st.louis, Sullivan, p.kane etc... Look at kassian he's proving why size matters. Take a hint management of the Vancouver Canucks, size matters!

Pears
Schroeder's played one game Honestly if I wasn't so loyal to the Canucks I would've changed teams a long time ago because of fans like you
forklift_ole
Might as well join the rabble in condemning your post. I wouldn't say a second round pick in his sixth NHL year (Raymond) could ever be called a bust. I wouldn't say a first round pick who's only played one game, and played it well (Schroeder) could yet be called a bust. I'm not even entirely convinced Shirokov could be called a bust, just a disappointment.
tigerwilliams for pm
I dont think its stupid to question Schroeders size. When you watch him skate & move the puck there is no doubt his skills are pretty sharp. I am routing him on as much as his strongest supporters. But the jury is still out on weather he can use his speed & ability to continue to get into the right areas to be effective. It is not going to be crashing the net. More like slipping under the arm pits. Also if he gets in those nasty spots the sneaky way is he gonna' be rugged enough to endure the constant punishment from BIG angry D men. Right now he's kinda' floating under the radar but having some success will change things because score 10 goals in a short while & now you become an assignment. & that is where you prove your going to last. When you have to keep changing your game to keep up with them studying your moves on video. If he's a smart player that is able to do that plus durrable then he will survive.I hope he is.
