Boudrias
Phoenix to Seattle. Islanders to Quebec. No to expansion. Yes to 28 teams.
surtur
Why does Toronto need a second team?
surtur
Also unless I'm mistaken, I think you can only protect one goalie, so they could take one of Schneider or Luongo for free. You can protect one goalie, five defensemen and nine forwards or protect two goalies, three defensemen and seven forwards. Man would this suck for us
WHL rocks
2 more teams in Canada? Bring it on. Can't wait. Oh yeah, NHL should also move one of their existing teams to Seattle. Really don't care which one, take your pick from one of US based teams.
Squeak
If the Expansion Draft was happening at the end of this season, i would keep: Forwards: Sedin, Sedin, Burrows, Booth, Kesler, Kassian, Hansen, Schroeder, Lapierre Defencemen: Edler, Garrison, Hamhuis, Bieksa, Tanev Goalie: Schneids
UFCanuck
Get a team in Quebec and in Hamilton/Markam Ontario. Move the Coyotes to Seattle. Move the Jets to the West, and Detroit to the East.

The Coach
And now I see why the NHL was willing to lose so much money this year during the lockout. The watering down effect will once again create an inflated value for top tier players. How is Bettman going to manipulate the League further to create less parody in the standings this time around? Honestly, this game is fast and all now...but nothing more than a 5 on 4 mockery of what this game used to be.
Christophe
No expansion. Not only is expansion drafts messy, but we don't need 32 teams. They should downsize to 28 teams. 14 per conference, 7 per division. Cut their losses with Phoenix and Columbus.
Coconuts
No thanks. If anything the league needs to get rid of a few teams.

zombieksa
Speculation is that the Portland winterhawks owner is looking to purchase the yotes to move them to Oregon. Start, would make Seattle even more viable an option (ala MLS 3 way NW rivalry)

Boudrias
Someone said it best on twitter that the league obviously doesn't care about the good of the sport - evident by the lockouts. It's all business. Expansion fees = directly into the league's pocket (players don't get a cut)
