Garrison is neither,but yes ,he is good at what he brings and does. Gillis failing to secure Salo or bring in a guy to replace what Salo gave the club is the real issue. Edler will handle the puck and be the first option off the Sedin's stick. It add's up to a suggestion I made when Garrison was first signed; Pair Garrison with Ballard! With Ballard's speed, and Garrison's size it would be our most physically capable pairing, one of the most dynamic in the league. He is tops in team +/-, he is moving the puck fairly well (there's still some getting used to the system going on), and he just got his first goal.
