They have guys who can play center, but I can't see them sliding Huberdeau over, I think they want to keep him at wing, aswell as Mueller. I don't think we should grab Kovalev myself. That team is built to win now, so I would guess there's pressure on them to make a deal. Holtby has been good, but they're still putting alot of their eggs in one basket with him. I'm sure they wouldn't mind adding a goalie and a D-man. With Philly, I don't know what they can even do at this point. They have lots of offense, so they could trade that to get some D. Smashian Kassian Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 They've been sliding Huberdeau to wing, because, imo, they have a great deal more depth at center, and as a 19 yr old, he's not very strong in the faceoff circle yet. He is and will be a center however. The same goes for their other Cs - they're all playing considerable minutes under the circumstances. Versteeg, Bergenheim, Upshall, Kovalev - all wingers they're trying to stop gap -and with Weiss joining them, wow - even MacGyver probably couldn't help that team... Cause they have alot of prospect centers: Bjugstad, Shore, Trocheck, Grimaldi, Rau, Knight. If they are really packing it in and going into sell mode like some people have suggested then I don't really think they are interested in Luongo at this point unless we offer them a great deal.
