He had a screwdriver in his head, but didn't know until he looked in a mirror

Screwdriver embedded five centimetres into forehead of 25-year-old Polish man was successfully removed by surgeons:

WARSAW, Poland — A 25-year-old man has undergone a three-hour operation to remove a screwdriver lodged about five centimetres into his head.

Dr. Jan Kochanowicz, one of the doctors who treated the man in the Polish city of Bialystok, said the man apparently fell and lost consciousness, but he has no memory of the incident.

When he regained consciousness, he was at first aware only of pain in his hand before realizing something else was wrong. He walked to his car, looked in a mirror and noticed the screwdriver, penetrating his forehead just above his right eye.

The man smoked a cigarette before calling a neighbour who got him to the hospital.

The screwdriver did not damage the man’s eyes or brain, Kochanowicz said.

Did he at least remember to check his mail and mow his lawn first before smoking the cig and calling his neighbour to take him to the hospital? Can't forget the important things.

"Man, I can't wear this shirt to the hospital, better go get changed"
