Smashian Kassian
Well... there is the start of the fall of Schneider. Luongo should have had this game.
Smashian Kassian
You ever had a cold? How do you feel after three days? Luongo should have started the Colorado game.
Canucks_Hockey_101
Schneider has been on an incredible roll and should have continued in Calgary, An illness allowed that not to happen. Either way he had earned the start with his prior play. Nothing different would have happened had Luongo been in net, as the goals he didn't have much chance on. Smashian Kassian
Since Luongo was on the bench, this argument is irrelevant. And if the team is to blame then Luongo or Schneider wouldn't have mattered, therefore, why the praise for Schneider, but most of all, why such hate for an athlete that has turned this franchise around? vv2
There is no hate for Luongo. All I am saying is Schneider has played great lately, as good as either of them could have been playing, so why would you change that? Makes no sense.

Boudrias
You ever seen Luongo play in the afternoon infront of a sloppy defense? Do I really need to go here?

Canucks_Hockey_101
No he wasn't. The defence was horrible. The shots that went in Schneider was either screened or didn't have a chance at stopping.

Smashian Kassian
Two reasons: Schneider was too sick to play the Calgary game, he must not be 100% going in two days later in an exhaustive shortened season. Luongo played great against Calgary and should have been rewarded with another start.
Canucks_Hockey_101
Schneider played great the prior game and deserved the start. See that goes both ways, and I'm pretty sure he is fine, thats why he played. These colds/flus or whatever he had don't last forever. Your nittpicking dumb reasons to justify Schneider coming out. Lu played well and does deserve a start but so does Cory. I assume Luongo will get another start soon but Cory is still our guy going forward and its well deserved. A string of good games is better than 1 good game.
Smashian Kassian
Watch it play out. Luongo will be traded and that will be the last of Schneider's perceived higher skills.
Canucks_Hockey_101
Hahahaha. Yeah sure. Watch Luongo be traded and Schneider go on to win the Vezina within 2 or 3 years.

Canucks_Hockey_101
Weren't you pawning the theory that Schneider would crumble this year under the pressure of being a starter? How did that play out for you? When are you going to give up this futile attempt to run Schneider down? We understand you love the Luongo, but your binary logic is failing you - you do not by extension need to continue to downplay Schneider's talent - it's old, and it's a logical fallacy. Smashian Kassian
As they both are Canucks, I believe it is still playing out...
