Patrick Jane
1 pts in his last 9 playoffs games is a good rational for me. His PPG and GPG production drop 50% from the regular season to playoff. His regular season plays is anihalated when other teams turns on playoff mode.

JensenFan2011
What evidence do you have that support this claim? You don't. So stop trying to say one of them is being traded because of one bad playoff, when really, the whole team other than Kesler and Luongo were bad. Wiznac
Im not to sure about giving up Edler and not receiving a player back.... and which pick are we giving to Clb ? phillys or ours
timberz21
Cause the only good hockey players can do is score points... there aren't any other roles needed in hockey is that right? get a grip on reality bud Edit: But it doesn't matter anyways... Hansen will not be traded... he consistently overachieves for what his cap hit is... you don't trade that away unless you still think Bertuzzi is a premier Powerforward in this league. Aladeen
His cap hit that will increase after next year to probably over 3M. I'm not giving him away, but i'm not labelling him as untouchable, by far. If Gillis' plan is to find young or bigger player to surround our core, then we gotta assumed Kesler, Sedins, Burrows and Higgins is our core (last 2 because they were just re-signed to long term deal), if we include Kassian and Hansen then basically Gillis's plan is to retooled our 4th line. Hansen is probably the only valuable asset we have not named Sedins, Kesler, Luongo, Edler. To get some value in return you gotta give, good players won't magically appeared in our line-up. JensenFan2011
Dude give up your ridiculous plan is not happening simple... Hansen will not be traded. You talk about an ineffective 3rd line, while that may be so, it was not in the least because of Hansen. Take some lessons from you last sentence there and realize that we are giving up a Damn good Roster player for a higher draft pick who will most likely not be ready for the NHL straight out of the gates. We have a good player in that line-up a draft pick won't improve Hansen's position - guaranteed. Use some logic and common sense and you will see how stupid it would be to trade Hansen. canuckistani
Hansen needs to get traded but no team in their right mind will swap a 1st rounder for Hansen- even the ones who are just one or two picks ahead of us. The best we are going to get for Hansen is a third liner guy or a 2nd round draft pick from a team that is going to pick 50th or worse in the second round. ALTtimegreat
Daniel-Henrik-Burrows Ryan-Kesler-Clowe/Clarkson Clowe/HIggins-Couturier-Hansen Torres-Lappiere-Kassian Higgins can be traded. If canucks decides to trade edler: to ducks for ryan schneider to philly for couturier. But its not gonna happen, Lu will most likely be dealt. But this forward core looks good.
