J529
NDP has nobody but themselves to blame. Dix was the absolute worst choice they could have picked for a leader with his past history and baggage. He's a terrible speaker and comes off as not bright. Making promises and throwing money around like it's water was just stupid. "Change for the better. One practical step at a time" sounds like something a child came up with. NDP also did no themselves no favors by refusing to campaign negativity, instead campaign positivity. Now that they've see the polls all of a sudden they've changed their tune and now are running negative attacks ad's. Too little, too late. NDP clearly didn't learn from 2009 election with Carole James and what awful Leader she was. BC Fed and the rest of their clowns. Make no mistake about it. Liberals and Clark DO NOT deserve to be re-elected after all the corruptions, scandals, and crap they've done in the past 12 yrs. They should all be in jail. I can't believe they will win this election despite all that. Sends a real good message. I really do not buy all these polls that say it's a close race, because there's some payoffs going on there. How does NDP go from 14 pt lead down to now 4 pt lead. Sorry I just don't buy it. Anyone can make up polls. Liberals are power drunk and desperate to stay in power they will do absolutely anything to remain in power. As for the 801 to oust Clark in the event she somehow doesn't win, ain't buying it. Like the recent Polls, I think it's pure BS for show and to create drama. Look who was the first to report it: Global: BC Liberal TV. If you thought things were bad under the Liberals for the past 12 years, you haven't seen anything yet.
Neversummer
I actually think you're right. Although Liberals really flubbed a lot of things, I don't trust NDP with the economy. Liberals are throwing money at families with little kids (RESP) and promising no more than 2% tuition fees for college + free textbooks. Liberals know how to get voters ... Dix thinks he can just show up and win this thing without policies and ideas.
DonLever
Are you trolling, because the latest Angus Reid Poll shows the NDP have a nine point lead over the Liberals 45-36. The NDP lead the Liberals in all areas of BC. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/british-columbia/ndp-widens-lead-in-new-bc-election-poll-but-not-by-much/article11875882/?cmpid=rss1 A guaranteed NDP win on Tuesday. Wetcoaster
If the BC NDP lose after looking to be a shoe-in, do the knives come out for Adrian Dix? Or is he too well insulated by his organized labour backing?

J529
If the NDP manages to somehow win, it won't be by very much. Think we can all agree they will be a one-term government and then booted out.

lowest common denominator
"It's Adrian Dix, what did you expect??" Non existant platform spells doom for BC. NDP=NFG
Kamero89
I love non educated political banter! Dix was a terrible choice, but 21st century politics is all about choosing the 2nd worst candidate. Our political system is broken. Dix, Clark, and even our PM, did not get where they are today, because they are good people. Our system is broken. J529
The best hope would be a miniority government regardless if Liberals or NDP form goverment. If a few Greens, Tories and/or Independents could win seats, they could hold the balance of power and hold the Goverment fire to the fire. Best area Greens have a chance at seats is on Vancouver Island.

J529
If they do win I just pray they end up with a minority governemnt. Just the thought of a NDP majority government makes my skin crawl.
lowest common denominator
NDP are a poo magnet, thats why NDP=NFG I'm not necessarily pro Lib but they are the best option for BC in this election. The world has gone through and is going through some serious upheavals and the NDP is not the solution and will only cause worse problems for people on a personal level in the short to mid to long term. I just care about BC andf don't want to see the people here suffer through the same lessons that were learned 15 years ago. NDP are buffoons. Voting them, in to spite the Libs will be like cutting off your right leg to spit the left. NFG is NDP
