NO!

Markstrom is not a #1 goalie, and they gave up a lot for Varlamov to give up on him now. Stastny is very overpaid, so no thanks, maybe if he was making around 5M. JS will not do as #3C, we need a bigger body who can win face-offs. I'm confused as to why Prab Rai is on the team? He can't even make the Chicago Wolves. Also, get rid of Ebbett, we want to get bigger, faster, and add skill, not keep small, soft guys. Finally, Joe Corvo is no longer a top-4 d man, and Tanev should be top-4 in his place. Also, for the money I'd rather have Alberts, who's played pretty well this year and has shown he can handle a bottom pairing spot.

How do you figure?

With Duchene and O'Reilly locked in, Stastny is expendable. The fact he is their 3rd Centre and has a cap hit of >6M, makes Colorado want to drop him.

In return they get a cap friendly goaltender who is undoubtedly better today than Varlamov and his potential is Vezina worthy.

Franchise goaltender for their very good 3rd line centre. Crazy not to do it.
