Guest Gumballthechewy
Where do you guys find good perogies besides homemade? Link to comment
hudson bay rules
http://hunkybill.biz/ Best perogies I've ever had, hands down. They have a booth at this annual fall fair at a little town called Rock Creek near where I live and I go there every year to get some. Hell, I pretty much go just for them and they even sell you bags you can take home. Link to comment

avelanch
i make a dill onion cream sauce to go on my homemade pyrogies. boiled when i make them fresh, fried when reheating the boiled pyrogies. if i don't have the ingredients for the cream sauce, then it's sour cream with fried onions, dill, and bacon. Totes McGoats
Yeah, Obviously you never JUST boil or JUST fry a perogie - that's just crazy talk. You have to boil, then fry them. Then - Sour Cream, Green onions and bacon bits. If you are feeling crazy, Salsa is a great addition to the mix also. Link to comment
TACIC
keeping it simple. I boils them then just add sour cream Link to comment
MikeyBoy44
Here is how I prepare perogies. Chop up green onions and bacon. Then fry in pan with tiny bit of oil until bacon becoms crispy. (next part is optional if I add little enough oil I just mix it in) Drain oil then add about a 250ml carton worth of whipping cream and fry until thick. Add in boiled perogies. Eat Link to comment

MikeyBoy44
your sauce is missing dill. and you should be using normal onions, not green onions. Link to comment
avelanch
Dill is a very good idea, appreciate the tip shall give it a try next go. And the onions part is because when I tried it with the normal onions they ended up taking over. I switched to green onions for some onion taste not overbearing onion taste. Link to comment
