There is more than enough room and resources for everyone. Just it's currently very inefficient because it's not economical (desalination could provide more than enough drinking water for everyone, increase agriculture, etc) , not politically acceptable (imagine building the newest/safest nuke generator, cut CO2 emissions severely.... or go with thorium reactors), politicians are too short-sided/arrogant (tons of land available like in many places in Africa, but who inhabitable because it's mismanaged or one people trying to kill off another group of people).

Indeed. Plus with innovations in agriculture we can produce more and more crops. Corruption is the number one cause of impoverishment and starvation, not a lack of resources.

So is that actually accurate? I'm awful at math so I couldn't figure it out myself. But I'd imagine that it would be a much larger area.
