Jägermeister
Gudbranson has been absolutely terrible in the NHL thus far in his career. I imagine his value is not even close to as high as it would have been at this time last year. I don't think Florida would get fair value for him if they dealt him now, and I'm sure they are aware of that. Don't see them trading him now. Don't get me wrong, I think he has the tools to be a legit top pair shutdown D, but I can see some GMs being hesitant to pay big based on what he has displayed so far. DeNiro
Like I said, Gudbranson will turn into nothing more than a Bryan Allen type dfenseman if he stays in Florida.

Boudrias
How broke is Florida? According to NHL Radio the Panthers demanded a time clock repaired from the municipal authority that owns the arena. Repair cost $1.5M Their request was denied with a suggestion that if they wanted it repaired that they should do it. Panthers said they didn't have $1.5M to do the repair and that they expected the clock to fall onto the ice sometime next season. It sounds like any Lu deal to Florida will require Van taking a cash hit!

oldnews
Florida had a pair of veteran goaltenders this year (one with a NTC and no intention of moving), and an extremely depleted roster that couldn't afford to part with any skaters. Tallon wasn't in a position to acquire Luongo even if he had wanted to. This summer is a different story. There's no reason to write of the possibility to Luo to Florida. oldnews
Gudbranson's shoulder dislocation is a difficult injury to remain healthy after suffering. That may also factor into his trade value. In any event, I'd be happy with Petrovic.
elvis15
You are the one generalizing my conclusions to the entire league, that's where your understanding is flawed. Once again you fail to understand any logic, generalizing statements because you fail to comprehend, Im not about to explain it to you. Just because Luongo wasn't traded doesn't mean no teams were interested, situations change all the time. Teams that were out, if their situations change are now in and bice versa. However Florida's situation hasn't changed, hence why they are still out. Like I said if Luongo hasn't already gone to Florida he won't be going there. If you don't understand that logic that's not my fault. Make generalizations all you want, all it does is make you look incognizant.

Cigano
Teams want Lu, no doubt. They just do not want to give MG what he is asking, and won't give him Lu's true value all because of his contract. If Lu had a 3-5years left, we would get what we want and Lu's true value. If Lu was a free agent, you would have a lot of teams wanting him that need a goalie, he would be the top goalie available. People saying no one wants Lu, they want him, just not at MG's price.
