Guest
Something I made today. I don't know how much I like the text (I'm just not good with it), or if it's sharp enough. I like the colours though. I've posted a few sigs this week, I've just been having fun with it this week. I'll slow down now though C&C? V1: V2: V3:
-Vintage Canuck-
I really like the colouring and the lighting here. Text looks good too but maybe try something new this time? Also you're improving sig by sig. Reading some tutorials, eh?

allons-y
This one looks a bit washed out. I like the lighting though.

Guest
nice turn around lol. could probably do without the scratch texture
Twilight Sparkle
that one's much better. almost looks like a completely new style with that text. i think someone a long, long time ago had that kind of style with that particular kind of text. i'm pretty sure they don't even post anymore
Guest
I'm really bad with text so I picked one that already had an "effect" to it. It's called "Impact Label" Like a label maker Oh really? Well that's lame. I don't want my sigs to look just like someone else's
Twilight Sparkle
well it doesn't really matter. you just go with what you're happy with and build around that. no one else does that here, creative has fallen off the face of the earth since the 2006-2008 days
Guest
Yeah it's too bad. I remember it was big when I was posting back in 03. It seems to be picking up a bit though
PlayoffHockey
should do a team sweden version with the weak gold helmet dancing up and down + hugging other men
Twilight Sparkle
when i started posting in 06 i normally had creative make a sig for me but then i was like, i wanna make my own sigs. my first ever sig wasn't even made in gimp or photoshop, some other free program and it was just 3 pictures pasted on lol but over time you learn how to render, what filters are good or bad, what backgrounds/colours compliments what. when you make that first sig that has a legit positive response just build around that and start adding and subtracting. i think your henrik sig is probably the best one you've made so far. all my psd did was help with adjustment layers. that's really my trick of the trade
Guest
I actually started making sigs back then with PS. I did it for a few years on here and on another forum. Then I stopped for quite a long time and pretty much forgot everything, not that I was fantastic when I did make them before, but I always had fun and some of the them turned out really nice I though. I really had no idea what to do with adjustment layers, I couldn't figure out what you and the others were doing to make the colours the way they are. Your PSD helped a ton. I didn't know PS had more than just the default gradient maps either. This is the first sig I made after figuring that out. It was something you said about the pastels in my Burrows sig topic that made me play around with them more.
-Vintage Canuck-
Did you make that Edler sig that you used to wear a while back?
