pylon05
I believe that all the following trades are reasonable and should be done to keep this team competitive for years to come even after the twins are gone. To WAS Luongo or Schneider (5.3 / 4.0m) Keith Ballard (4.2m) Rights to Jordan Schroeder (only if they take Lu. If they want Schneider they don’t get Schroeder and they throw in a 2nd and 3rd rounder) To VAN John Carlson (3.97m) Braden Holtby (1.85m) Troy Brower (2.35m) To COL Alex Edler Alex Burrows 2013 1st rounder To VAN Steve Downie 2013 1st overall pick (Nathan Makinnon) To WINN David Booth Braden Holtby To VAN There 3, 2nd rounders in this years draft So with all this said and done we have addressed needs as well as freed up cap space. Not that I don’t like Booth or Ballard but they are necessary pieces for all this to happen. So all of this leaves us with about 11.7m in cap space, the 1st overall pick, four 2nd rounders and two 3rd rounders along with the rest of our picks in the round four through seven. Players to resign Maxim Lapierre 1.0m Tom Sestito .5m Dale Weise .5m Chris Tanev 1.0m Andrew Alberts 1.0m All of these are one year contract with the selling point that the cap will be going up following next year so hence they will get more the following year if resigned UFA signings Bryan Bickell 2.4m Viktor Stalberg 2.4m Identical three year contracts so as not to insult them but give us room to keep competitive as well as giving them the chance for another raise. My Custom Lineup FORWARDS Daniel Sedin ($6.100m) / Henrik Sedin ($6.100m) / Zack Kassian ($0.870m) Chris Higgins ($2.500m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m) Troy Brouwer ($3.667m) / Nathan Makinnon ($2.850m) / Steve Downie ($2.650m) Bryan Bickell ($2.400m) / Maxim Lapierre ($1.000m) / Viktor Stalberg ($2.400m) Tom Sestito ($0.500m) / Dale Weise ($0.500m) DEFENSEMEN Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) / Kevin Bieksa ($4.600m) Jason Garrison ($4.600m) / John Carlson ($3.967m) Chris Tanev ($1.000m) / Frank Corrado ($0.599m) Andrew Alberts ($1.000m) / GOALTENDERS Roberto Luongo ($5.333m) Eddie Lack ($0.750m) ------ CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter) (these totals are compiled with the bonus cushion) SALARY CAP: $64,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $64,236,111; BONUSES: $0 CAP SPACE (23-man roster): $63,889 Every player in our bottom six all have the capability to step up into another role if a injury happens to our top six not leaving us to wonder where the scoring is going to come from. These moves allow us to stockpile our farm system and not have to rush anyones development. So in the end if players decide to retire or just move on in a couple of years we have the assets to jump into our lineup.
c00kies
These are quite far fetched proposals.

Super_Canuck
If you think any of those proposals are reasonable, then you need your head checked.
