theo5789
Go to the store where you plan on purchasing and try on different sizes. You might feel more comfortable in one or another. Also, stay in school.

hockeyville88
I am 5'4" and I wear 30" pads It's really all personal preference though. Some goalies prefer longer and wider pads. Others, like myself, don't like overly wide pads. It's best to go try on a bunch of styles at a hockey store until you find one you like.
goalie13
If your profile is true, at 11 years old you are still growing. Don't spend too much on pads you are just going to grow out of. Hell, I'm 41 and I've never owned a brand new set of pads. There are plenty of great quality used sets out there if you just shop around a little. MoneypuckOverlord
you have to try it out for yourself. You can't comprimise not having the proper fitting equiopment. On Bauers site, I should be wearing senrior small hockey pants, but I actually fit a Junior large mission hockey pants perfectly.
Apple Juice
Where do you even buy goalie pads anyways? I'm 6'2 and I wanna invest in ball hockey pads to play inside/outside but not on a regular basis
Monty
Don't buy used, complete waste of money. So many used pads you can get, and in great condition.

canucks#01fan
i get my goalie pads from the hockey shop close to central city arena and north surrey recration center because i play ball hockey there and the shop is a street away. The third floor is for coaches and refs the 2nd floor is for players and the basement is all for goalies so go check it out but there is only 1 in bc. But if u dont live nearby i reccomend cylone taylor sports or go online and check out the goaliemonkey. Never go to Canadian tire unless u need a stick and same thing with Sportscheck. Hope this helped

I'm 6'2 and I wanna invest in ball hockey pads to play inside/outside but not on a regular basis Depending on how sturdy you need them to be, you could always go with the Canadian Tire ones. They are made with foam so it's not a whole lot of protection for your knees when you go down in the butterfly, but it does the job for just casual street/ball hockey play. The 30" ones are usually $100. Mind you, if you're 6'2" they might not be big enough for you. If you want something a bit stronger, I suggest going to Cyclone Taylor in Surrey. They have hybrid pads - more sturdy than the Canadian Tire street hockey ones, but not as heavy as regular ice hockey ones. They're about $150-175. Pretty durable and supportive. If you're playing outdoors, I'd advise against buying ice hockey pads. They're very expensive and the concrete/ashphalt will just rip up the leather. Proballhockeyplayer
Oh I think I know what shop you 're talking about.. I have class in Surrey from time to time and I see it. Been in there once.. Never knew there were 3 levels How much do they usually cost? Cuz I doubt I'm gonna be wearing these pads often.
