Dedalus
So, I've heard/read the Detroit Red Wings's fanbase's 'national' beer is Molson. I find this a little bizarre. Am I out of touch, as I am now in Los Angeles, is this common knowledge or always been the case? My apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Legend Killer
Lots of Detroit fans in southwestern ontario, that's probably why.

CALGARY!
Detroit is a poor city, as mentioned above a lot of their fans drive over the bridge from Windsor and southern Ontario, as it is far easier to get tickets to see the Wings the drive up to TO and pay a million dollars to see a crappy team. Master Mind
It's been that for at least a couple of years now. Funny how of all beers to choose, they go with the one that has "Canadian" in the title
Twilight Sparkle
as stated, probably wings fans in ontario who drink molson. coors light is probably what they drink in detroit itself tho, which is the same company molson coors

Boudrias
Poor town, probably all they can afford. When the refs didn't call that crosscheck in the game last night I shut the game off. If this is the way the game is going I will move on.

Twilight Sparkle
dominant beer in southern ontario is bud light. Canadian is absolutely garbage. I dont know why its the official beer of the wings but its not because of price. In windsor I pay 35 $ for 24 bottles. I cross the border and pay 12.50 (Before tax and deposit) for 24 CANS

Twilight Sparkle
Only go for local beers, way cheaper/better. Try shaftbury or even cariboo, $9 a sixer

Boudrias
The league is FAR more concerned with parity than fairness. I am moving on as well. Good luck NHL, I guess you won't need it (unless others catch on to your guise), but I am not fooled.
