Drouin
He has been utterly useless to the Vancouver Canucks so far in his career? Don't see anything significant he's done for our organization. Could say that about most prospects, but yes, he has been pretty useless. His stint in the NHL this year was nothing more than sub-par.
BedBeats™2.0
This is going to stunt his development. Unfortunate. J-Schro at his best helps the team. I wish he was a slumdunk on FO's. He had a streak where he was very reliable at the dot when matched favorably. Then just faded. Thats probably when he sustained an injury. Tellin ya, when he fully rehabs, he really should just obsess with winning faceoffs. It will give him a major shot at staying in the NHL.
D-Money
How long before Schroeder is waiver eligible? We're getting painfully close to losing him for nothing.
UFCanuck
I'm sure the new coach will utilize him better than AV did.

higgyfan
Tough luck for Jordon. These undersized players have to work so hard to make it in the NHL and not being able to prepare during the summer will make it more difficult. I still think the Canucks need to help him switch over to wing. The kid seems to have a fantastic work ethic and attitude, so he should be able to adapt to playing the wing. The team certainly could use his playmaking abilities, but not at C.
Tr4ilerP4rk
The way I look at it.. sure, this injury will hinder his progress a tad. But not nearly as much as AV would have continued to do. Modern medicine and fitness will have this kid back in top shape ready to go for October.

Dogbyte
Unfortuante, I like Schroeder and thought he deserved a better shot last year but I think this could seriously derail his development. This will most likely cost him a shot at playing with the team next year, unless of course Gillis doesn't acquire a third line center. Frankly nothing he does at this point would surprise me. Burrows again, ah hell whatever. We're tanking anyway.
billabong
It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they parted ways with him...we need to get bigger not smaller Axe Schroeder, ebbett and Raymond and we are better already
