Dazzle
The Sharks were getting favorable calls when they faced the Canucks in the first round. I'm not trying to make excuses for the team, we didn't play the way we have in the past. It seems a lot of the media and other fan bases around the league have labelled us as whiners and divers, but it seemed like the Sharks were doing that way more then us and they dont get that label. I just dont get that.
Ferlands_Head
The Sharks really surprised me...as bad as Vancouver was I fully expected them to win this series in 5 or 6 games. Most surprising was how good their defense looked compared to the 2011 playoffs..to the poster on here who told me not to underestimate the impact of Larry Robinson coaching their D YOU WERE SPOT ON!! TOMapleLaughs
Well, i guess the Sharks are gonna have to blow it all up again.
Patrick Kane
How many times have the Sharks been to the Stanley Cup Final? San Jose always have and always will be the biggest playoff chokers
MoneypuckOverlord
they were alright. Just look at my sig. Look at the games too. Very iffy calls going against Vancouver. Couture got away with diving against Vancouver for some strange reason. I think he was a little surprised none of his diving crap was working in round 2. But yes, 5 on 5, Vancouver >>>>>>>>>>> Sharks. If we had 23 power plays instead of 10 and Sharks had 10 instead of 24 it be a sweep in 4.
stonecoldstevebernier
Sharks were good, but we were terrible. If the PP's were even, it wouldn't have been a sweep, but I think we still would've lost in maybe 6. Our problem was you could name players that showed up on occasion, but not once did they all show up at the same time. Kesler went beast for half a game, the Sedins and Burrows had their moments, but none of them could bring it consistently. And then you had players like Higgins, Roy, and Raymond who were completely invisible. We lost two games in OT where one goal by any of those players could've made all the difference. But the Sharks had everyone rolling and we were sputtering and stumbling.
Drouin
scoring would be gold on this team
Bissurnette
I think SJS were good against the LAK and they were able to keep up with them, which is quite a feat within itself. But we weren't even close to good. We didn't want to play, we expected things to be handed to us... not going to happen in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Drakrami
The fact that San Jose is a good team or not, wins the Stanley cup or not, makes you feel better as a loser? Have some pride man, coming up with excuses to make yourself feel better about losing.
cmpunk
We sucked, and Sharks are good too. They went 7 games with the Kings and it was a 1 goal game and game 2 they probably should have had. We were neither good offensively or defensively in all aspects. Bad pp and bad pk.
samurai
Anytime you get swept it tells you two things one teams sucks and the other is good.
Dildo Faggins
Glad they lost so they can share some of the pain. And I don't want to feel jealous again about another team the Canucks lost to going on and getting the cup.
Burnsey
they played a full 4 games. Canucks played a full 2 games....Can't win if you just float around for half the game. Officiating is NOT valid excuse, when you get penalties you kill them off. Canucks couldn't nor could they score on their PP's. We didn't play enough to even deserve to be considered a playoff team imo. Luongo was literally the only that played great for every game.
Krazy_sl
We sucked, the refs sucked and the league sucked. SanJose was okay, they still got more powerplays every time they were at home against the Kings. Seems NHL wanted game 7 between the two. But realy who cares, this season sucked, it wasn't even a real season, it was a gimmick to get some more money out of the fans. Would we really feel proud if the canucks won the cup this year? For me it would be tainted with, Not a real season, not a real cup.But I would still be a little happy, not gonna lie.

cbdoubleu
We played that series like it was our first time in the playoffs. Really reminded me of when we swept St. Louis a few years back. They were in every game, but always found a way to lose. We had leads in 3 of the 4 games, but we just had the wrong intensity all series. It really looked like we'd never won a playoff before.
