ranked in the early 2nd rounds. only 39 points in 36 games? Whats the scouting report on him. Although he's 6'2 his brother was 5'10, size is not a factor, is the skill set there?

Has the tools, but doesn't have the extra physical aggression just like all the other Tambellini's. It's obviously premature to say that because he's raw, but its clear that the Canucks are looking for more of those skilled guys that don't mind grinding it out. Considering his ranking, and that the Canucks don't have a 2nd( not 100% sure). Unless he falls drastically into the 4+ rounds. I wouldn't draft him.

I'd much prefer someone like a Alexandre Mallet, who has all the physical tools and uses it well and has some offensive upside. Teams should surround their stars with these types of players, who thrive in the playoffs and have a higher chance of reaching potential because of how they are able to be confident defensively, that allows the coach to use them more to the point that they can find themselves with offensive roles.
