Common sense
I'd laugh my ass off if he went to Philly.

Pears
Edmonton seems like a team that could use Thomas. I could even see a team like Columbus make a push for him.

DeNiro
Thomas won't go anywhere unless he's the clear cut starter IMO. And he'll likely want to go to a big market team where he can be back in the spotlight. His motivation seems to be to play in the Olympics afterall, and he's not doing that playing for a small market team.
Everybody Hates Raymond
really? how bout a 2 year 6-7 million contract? no one signs a 1 year deal

Madness
yeah, paying less than an average goaltender for a recent Vezina trophy winner is the norm. I see where yer coming from. Happens all the time.

higgyfan
By the time next seasons rolls around, this 40yr old won't have played for 16 months. I'd say it's iffy for him to get his game back at this stage. He should just retire on his millions.

Moonshinefe
Will be interesting to see if he comes back and has a year or two of elite goaltending left in him. Will also be interesting to see what sort of money he gets, since he IS old and hasn't played in a while.
