-Vintage Canuck-
According to Bruce Garrioch: Been told Oilers GM Craig MacTavish has been busy working the phones. He wants to get help immediately, which means he could use some of the club’s young assets to see if he can find the right piece to get Edmonton to the playoffs. There is talk the Oilers may move right winger Nail Yakupov to bring back a package. http://www.ottawasun.com/2013/06/03/nhl-snapshots-nhl-goalie-market-remains-wide-open
Mr. White
I wouldn't be surprised. They don't really need him and I bet a lot of other teams would be interested.

timberz21
I'd trust Eklund before Garrioch. In the Sens' year-end assessment, GM Murray told the media he would look for offensive help. Pretty sure it's just Wishful thinking from Garrioch's part.

TheRussianRocket.
Not surprising at all...I have no clue why Oilers took Yakupov too in the draft when they clearly needed help on the backend and in net, but no, they select yet another forward ...If moved, my guess is Yakupov for a top 4 dman and more depending on the player; Yakupov for Yandle? mpt
Yes and I work with a die hard oilers fan who would have you in knots when it comes to the oilers. He stated that no way would Yak get moved, if anyone is going its Eberle cause of the trade value he will bring back and the fact that RNH, Hall and Yak are seen as future superstars where Eberle is going to be a star but won't reach the other 3's ceilings. Canuck or Die
This shouldn't be a surprise. They have four futures stars, unfortunately for them they are pretty similar, so they don't really compliment each other. Turning one of those stars into a top-four or top-two defenseman would really help them.
