Bombastik der Teutone
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=424822 DENVER -- The Colorado Avalanche signed left winger Patrick Bordeleau to a three-year deal on Wednesday. The 27-year-old enforcer led the team in hits (116) and finished second in penalty minutes (70). He also scored two goals and had three assists in 46 games. Executive vice-president of hockey operations Joe Sakic said Bordeleau brings "toughness" to the lineup. Bordeleau made his NHL debut on Jan. 19 in Minnesota and scored his first goal in Los Angeles on April 11 against the Kings. Bordeleau played the first half of 2012-13 with Lake Erie of the American Hockey League. He had seven points and 91 penalty minutes in 29 games while skating for the Monsters. GM Fantasy Guru
Sestito is a complete dud Canuck Nation. Why would Gillis resign him for two years? To be a player in the NHL and not even be in great physical condition is so crazy to me. Bordeleau is a monster and will be one of the top enforcers for years. Sestito will be in the AHL soon... After 5 years, Gillis still has never had a proper fourth line. How difficult is it to get an effective fourth line? Isn't Gillis the smartest man in the room? BananaMash
I like how people still think that Sestito signing means hes a lock to be full time in the lineup. Didn't Alberts get 2 years at some point too? He's been our 7th D most of the time, there's no reason that Sestito isn't just a depth forward like Ebbett was supposed to be.
