The Magician
Would you rather do a small trade for depth or a big trade for someone that can score 40+ goals? A small trade would be more of what New York got for Gaborik and a big trade would be more of what New York did to get Nash. Personally I think depth for the playoffs, but some people seem to want that big name guy that can put up 70+ points. Discuss

erkayloomeh
Big trade bringing us a 40 goal scorer. we need a strong second line or new first line relegating sedins to second or fight for first line minutes
TACIC
If you ask CDC: OmG We needz big rite now Logically: We need depth because we have some big players
-Vintage Canuck-
Big trade, especially a guy that can change the game and score huge goals. This will put very less pressure on the Sedins if get a 30+ goal scorer and put him on the 2nd and see a 2011 Kesler. Having all the depth never helped us this year with continuously juggling the lines and who to put where and who to scratch. But I have to say, depth helps us during the Playoffs only if you have an injury up at the front. But right now at this point, I would have to say Big Trade. Burnsey
We have a fair few depth players (Hansen, Higgins, Lappy, possibly Kassian with a bit of work, etc.) I want to see us get a 2nd line. We are a 1st line with 2 3rd line team.... not good enough!

cbdoubleu
Always go big: Lionel Prichard: Merrill's a class-A screw up. He would just swing that bat as hard as he could every time. Didn't matter what the coaches said, didn't matter who was on base. He would just whip that bat through the air as hard as he could. Looked like a lumberjack chopping down a tree. Merrill here has more strikeouts than any two players. SFC Cunningham: You really got the strikeout record? Merrill: Felt wrong not to swing.
