To STL:

Luongo

To VAN:

Alex Steen

Brian Elliott

Even amount of salary being traded, Canucks get an excellent backup goalie and a great 2 way player in steen. (After this, I guess the blues can look to trade the oft injured halak, maybe to NYI.)

To PHI:

Edler

To VAN:

Wayne Simmonds

Phi is desperate for D and we need more offense, so this should help both teams.

To TOR:

Schroeder

Higgins

To VAN:

Cody Franson

Toronto gets a replacement for the pending UFA's MacArthur and bozak. We get a big right-handed d-man we're in dire need of.

Buyout David Booth

UFA signings:

David Clarkson 5 years @ $4.6M per

Brian Bickell 4 years @ $2.5M

Sedin-Sedin-Clarkson

Burrows-Kesler-Simmonds

Bickell-Steen-kassian

Weise-Lain-Hansen

Hamhuis-Bieksa

Garrison-Franson

Ballard-Tanev

Schneider

Elliot

Hahaha just like they have Jensen and Schroeder enough time to develop, if they only ever play in lower leagues they will stay there, push him in the NHL and he will be used to the game after 3 months, and be playing like the pros after a year.

Lain had 0 points in 13 games in ahl, he isn't ready...

And i know that ^ is contradicting what i said... But! Schroeder performed in that league, and Jensen would too, so thats why they should be in the nhl so they can make a leap and not sit in no mans land.

Well lain isn't expected to produce points, he's projected to be a fourth liner. He mostly needs to be good defensively and use his size to his advantage. How much offense did Lapierre produce for us this year as the fourth line center? How much offense did malhotra produce when he was here as the 3rd line centre? Lain is older then Gaunce, so if lain isn't ready, neither is Gaunce.

I wouldn't put a lot of faith in lack just yet because he has never played a game in the NHL and he is also coming off hip surgery which is an alarming injury for a goalie. We don't yet know how his body will recover? Will he have the quick lateral movement to be an NHL goalie? Let him test it out in the AHL for a year and see how well he comes back.
