J529
Price has always been overrated. He's not a top goalie in the NHL. Has yet to win a playoff round. Melanson was fired in Montreal because he was too tough on Price. Montreal blundered big time when they decided to trade Halak and keep Price. Price should have been the one dealt, not Halak. Halak was the sole reason Montreal went on that deep playoff run in 2009-10 to East Final.
Alex the Great
How about they win something before they talk trash. Until then just shut up. There's nothing worse than an arrogant team that has never won anything.

Warhippy
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=425170 In this story, current Canucks goaltending coach Roland Melanson has a lot to say about Carey Price. Aren't the Canucks hated enough around the league without going around talking about players on other team's in a negative way like this? I mean, what does Melanson or the Canucks gain from this? Even though it could very well be all true, the real question is why even bother saying it publicly? I mean, he sort of sounds bitter that he was fired or otherwise blamed for whatever struggles Price had in his time there.
Warhippy
Nice to see the stark contrast in how people are viewing Toews' comments about being glad the Canucks didn't win in 2011 compared to here. Canucks make a comment, stop whining/that's terrible. Anyone else, refreshing honesty/great competitiveness.
Lui's Knob
Tony g thinks melanson wants out... More drama in Canuck land... When will it become an A classy org again?
J529
When AV and the other assistants were fired, why was Melanson spared? They should have let him go too as it's obvious he wants out and return to Montreal. The question is the feeling mutal in Montreal and do they want him back. Westcoasting
Yet before he was here Luongo dominated the league, was nominated for the Hart trophy and was robbed of the Vezina. Ever since Melansen came on board Luongo's game has never been the same.
