CALGARY!
While Calgary will get a good kickstart to the rebuild with 3 Firsts this year, I would like to draft a lot of forwards, and build using our current roster of defensive prospects, I would like to add a big body shut down guy with attitude. I propose To Boston Backlund and 2013 2nd round To Calgary, Adam Mquaid Boston adds a third line depth guy, possible second line if he is developed properly and a 2nd round pick that's not to far behind their own first round pick, Calgary get a big tough shut down guy who can play PP PK and shut down role. I would like to see defensive pairings for next year as McQuaid Giordano TJ Brodie Wideman Butler Sarich, Sarich and Buttler will have to battle Cundari Wotherspoon and Ramage for spots. Alex Burrows 14
Terrible for calgary. Backlund is awesome. Him and baertschi together in a few years will be scary.
Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
The Boston Bruins are oversaturated on center. They will use Krejci and Bergeron, and Seguin ahead of Backlund. Defensively, they've got Peverley, Kelly and Campbell. No need for Backlund, no need for picks.
CALGARY!
I would not say Backlund will be a solid top 6 guy, I thin best he can do is solid third liner who can step up to the second when needed. I think Calgary can draft much better forward prospects. Plus I have a man crush on McQuaid. Watch his fight with Torres on YouTube, or with Boyle from NYR, the guy is a tough cookie, and can play shut down, is an intimidating presence on the blue line. Not to mention Boston can afford to move dmen as this is by far their deepest position. Backlund would bring speed and energy to the B's
Apples
Flames already have a weak prospect pool. Now their trading another away!?

schlaBAM
Every time I think of Mcquaid I think of this and chuckle a bit. He's an idiot.
-AJ-
Calgary would lose that trade badly. Throw in a 1st for Calgary and it might be a lot more even.
