Man of Steel movie

What are you some Superman fanboy or something? Nothing special, really?

Flash moves faster than light, man. This means that you can't even see him in full flight because light does not have a chance to reflect off of his body. He can actually move so fast he is able to vibrate himself THROUGH walls or anything else. Time travel ALONE makes The Flash much more interesting than his Justice League counterparts. Strongest hero in the universe. That's right, even stronger than Superman. Here's the reasoning. Hypothetically, if you hit someone with a feather going the speed of light it will obliterate them, imagine a human fist that actually has its own source of kinetic energy force and is a hard, heavy fist to boot. He can essentially freeze time if he runs at a certain speed without actually time traveling. So he has a lot of time to think on the battlefield. It may not be actual intelligence but he has all the time he needs to think. He also thinks faster than anyone else.

I'm curious as to just how many Flash comics/story lines you've actually read. There have been four Flashes: Barry Allen (the one who most are familiar with) Bart Allen, Wally West and the vintage Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. I'm genuinely curious as to whose stories you actually did find interesting or "special". Barry's and Jay's were by far the best storylines...and if you have only read Wally or Bart you aren't doing the series justice.

Superman fanboy? I didn't even mention Superman. Why is it that half the people on CDC have to call everyone else a fanboy if they have a different opinion? lol.

Yet on the flip side you just gushed over how the Flash is better then everyone else ignoring his weaknesses just stating it as if it is an undisputed fact comparing him to humans and superman while ignoring the other crowd of heros that include a very wide range of powerful abilities (including a handful of heros that easily OP humans and have advantages over Superman)... can you say fanboy? :bigblush:

With that being said the Flash is one of my favorite heros and I am fully aware of his abilities. On top of that I just started working on a cosplay concept for a light armored Flash outfit modeled after his Injustice: Gods Among Us suit in hopes of having it down for next years Comic Con or C2E2 if I don't get tickets.

You may know more about the comic series than I do as I am not a hardcore comic guy I just read them casually. I am most familiar with Barry and Wally. If I was to rephrase what I said... The Flash is an interesting superhero with interesting abilities but I don't feel his storylines that I am familiar with transfer into good movies nor can those comics compete with the comics that were successful. It is my opinion that a stand alone Flash movie would be mediocre. Not to mention villains. The Flash's villains are mediocre yet with JLA his abilities are better showcased against better villains. Something that has been huge for the Batman series.

But that's my opinion. Agree to disagree. If he's your fav that's great.

Saw it tonight. It has a lot of good and bad though I won't ruin anything for those who haven't seen it.

Faora-Ul is sexy though.

I apologize. I assumed, that since the thread is about the Man of Steel...and that since I brought up a superhero other than Superman and you said what you did about not interesting storylines or whatever you said I can't even remember half of it now...that you were defending Superman. I apologize again for the assumption and the oversight.

The movie was okay at best. The dialogue was not particularly good, but the effects were good. There was a lot of action, almost too much, and it was pretty frantic. It was hard to keep up with what was happening. The plot was decent, it jumped around a bit and wasn't super cohesive. The potential was there, but it just couldn't reach it. The acting on the whole wasn't bad either.
