TheRussianRocket.
That was pure magic in the IIHF tournament...the Sedin's and Eriksson were on a different pedastal ripping apart opposing teams to shreds and just watching it gave hint to, "If the Sedin's had a star linemate for once in the NHL, what damage could they do there?". No offense to Burrows, but if the Sedin's can make an average top 6'er in Burrows look brilliant, what could they do with a legit star forward? It was answered in the IIHF tourny, and would make complete sense to get this done especially since it would be an all Swede line too. Moves: - Edler + 2014 3rd for Loui Eriksson - Luongo, Schroeder, Higgins for Couturier, Simmonds, 2013 2nd/3rd - Trade Ballard for a 3rd/4th - Sign: • Ian White 2 years, $1.5 mill annual; a right handed shot which we lack on the blueline and he's very intelligent. Was a + player in the years when he played for the Maple Leafs...all you have to know lol. • Hendricks 3 years, $1.25 mill annual; finally a replacement for Malhotra who's a versatile player. • Murray 1 year, $1 mill; solid depth dman with a massive frame + right handed shot. • Bickell 3 years, $2.5 mill annual; a heart a soul player who has been under the radar for quite sometime and an excellent playoff player. - Resign: • Lappy & Alberts to reasonable contracts as depth players, not starters/less caphit. BananaMash
It's not the only problem with this, but Lapierre will sign somewhere where he can be a regular in the roster. I still think in your lineup he'd slot in the 4th line LW position over Sestito too.
Warhippy
Bickell will be given something ridiculous in the $3.3 million range per year @ 4 years +. We won't be able to reach him.
Apples
Solid proposal. I see all four lines contributing. Defense is a bit weak though. Murray can get more than 1 mil
Canuck Surfer
I really like your forward roster! I an not sure the Philly trade is realistic. A journeyman 3rd liner (Higgins), Lou and Schroeder who is talented but still a long shot to be a regular in the bigs for 2 young stud forwards who are locks to be impact players? But its a great forward crew, I especially like the Bickell signing. I don't like the D crew though. Why all the movement to get White and Murray??? It does not sound exciting, nor is it likely we'll be any good (worse in fact) at getting the puck out of our end. All that firepower up front will do us nothing! Moves: 23 Man Roster: Sedin - Sedin - Eriksson Burrows - Kesler - Simmonds Bickell - Couturier - Kassian Sestito - Hendricks - Hansen Lapierre Hamhuis - Bieksa Garrison - White Corrado - Tanev Alberts, Murray Schneider Lack ...essentially every line has a new face and to me, that's a fair shakeup to the team while keeping the core players there. LeanBeef
This reminds me of last year when everyone made proposals for Hartnell just because he played well with the Sedins in the allstar game. lol
Pears
I love that line up. But does it work cap wise?
BuretoMogilny
bigger ice helped that line too folks Sedins need a guy like David Clarkson...someone who will bash and create room for them in the playoffs when there is less of it...

Drouin
Awesome physical lineup with good offense. Nice mix
FlyLow_
Yeah, there's no hitting in IIHF really. It's not awful, just not interested in having the softest 1st line in the league. Philly trade is hilarious.
