Dany Heatley - Compliance Buy-out?

Recommended Posts

If Dany Heatly could be got on the cheap, due to compliance buy-out (7.5 mill cap hit for the Wild), would you want him on the Canucks, and if so, what would be the max you'd pay?

I personally would love to see what he could do with Kesler. It's too bad Booth is another left-winger, because if either played well on the right, a line of Heatley, Kesler, Booth could be very scary. It's all a matter of chemistry though.

I see Heatley as someone who could become what Hossa is to the Hawks, a solid contributor who for the right price can make any team a little better. I don't think he's the solution to Canucks woes alone, but for the right price, would you say no?

With all due respect to a former 50 goal scorer. I don't want him. He ran his mouth wanted this demanded that and we can see where his production came from. Alfie and Jason in Ottawa because since then he's done exactly what? Even Jumbo Joe couldn't get him going. No thanks.
