Mr. White
Would he really be negotiating new contracts while playing in the Stanley Cup Finals?

Danthecanucksfan
Why not ? It seems like a lot of players are working with their representation on new contracts while playing during the season, this would be no different.
Drakrami
Ummmm, how is the Stanley Cup Finals no different from the season..... I see this as unprofessional, dont see why he wouldnt have 100% of his focus on winning a championship considering how far they've gotten, and the fact that hes 41. babych
after losing in triple overtime in game one and being in the midst of a long goal drought..... his solution is screwing the team that traded for him and gave up something significant and going to the KHL?? I know, its the Bruins, but still....
Baka
Meh. I think sports fans are prone to being overly sensitive and have an undeserved feeling of entitlement over players over small gestures. His teammates aren't going to get butthurt and start playing depressed. He is an upcoming UFA and likely already knows if he wants to stay in the NHL or not. He isn't so mentally weak that even talking to a KHL team will shatter his mind and he won't play well. Not to mention business is business and organizations and fans turn on players all the time talk about trading them, talk about trading for replacements, then spot business as the justified reason and expect full submission from other players. I'm cool with this.
