Congrats to Mathias Niederberger who played his 1st full Game in the AHL last Night.

A 3-4 SOL in Worcester is not a to bad Start. Hope he will get some more chances.

The Blues stay confident in Mathias and he will get a Contract like all 2012 Draftpicks in our Organisation.

OTB: Even hes injured currently...Joe Vitale is available and also Torrey Mitchell.

Probably in a package for interested Playoff contending Teams for Prospects, Picks , Solid Bottom Line Players in return ...

The Rangers likely will use some draft picks to pick up a couple 3rd and 4th line players who will be able to help out in the post season. Of note, we expect to have 4 third round picks, and a team looking to build via the draft may want those picks rather than a 3rd line winger....all enquiries will be given fair consideration.

Rumour: Montreal Canadiens GM _arby_18 has apparently been toying with the idea of moving his 1st round pick for this coming summer's draft if proper value can be found. As things currently sit, the Habs sit 25th overall in the league and second last in the Eastern Conference, which would mean the 6th-overall selection...

The Boston Beuins would like to announce the retirement of Wade Redden, made public on January 9th, when he informed the NHLPA of his decision.

http://www.cbc.ca/m/touch/sports/nhl/story/1.2490572

It's a shame how the end of his career turned out, and it goes to show the damage over eager teams can do by overpaying players in the league. Nevertheless, Wade was a bolster to our defense last season when we were in need, and was integral and effective in helping us push the furthest into the playoffs our organization has been.

We are proud to have Wade retire a Bruin, as he technically does IRL. We wish Wade the best in his future endeavors.
