Primal Optimist
Sweet! 21 points from the early game today, would have been more if Backlund scored on any of his 8 shots, hehe.

Primal Optimist
Interesting, Chad Johnson was acquired a year ago by the Rangers in a trade that involved a Future Consideration with Colorado. Should Chad play in 30 NHL regular season games before the end of the 13-14 season Colorado will get NYR's 3rd round pick. Chad was later moved in a package deal, but the FC remains. It seems this comeback goalie may well indeed hit the mark. Playing lights out at home Chad has no losses in 5 home games this year with the Boston Bruins of the NHL and only needs 9 more games out of the remaining 25 to force this change of owner of the NYR 3rd in 2014. I suspected he would be good, I didn't imagine he would play in 30 in a season and a half. Congrats to a player that really is earning his starts. Otis
Solid night heading into the Olympic break. Really pleased with my teams progression this season as I feel we've taken the next step even from last season and hope we can do so in the playoffs as well. Good times for guys to rest up and others to represent their country. Can't wait to see my two favorite defensemen in the league in OEL and Karlsson play together for Sweden! Caboose
Matt Carkner, Curtis McElhinney, Martin Brodeur and Thomas Hickey are available. Looking for some combination of either picks, prospects, or playoff depth. Still very much looking to acquire a #1 Goaltender as well, almost any piece on the team can be made available. y0shi
Waivers: we would like to place Linus Omark on waivers. If he clears, we'd like to send him to the minors.
Azzy Mahmood
c2x - minor point, but Chris Vandevelde has his real-life team on pickup listed as Edmonton once again, rather than Philadelphia (in real life and in this). Cheers
Primal Optimist
The Rangers are still looking to add a bright 3rd line vet for our push to make the playoffs and survive the opening round. We are willing to part with a mitfull of 3rd round picks to do it.
