Primal Optimist
97 point night!!!!!!! For the 1st time in my career as a gm the Carolina hurricanes are in a playoff spot!!!!! Great Work T.R. !! Looking at your squad now on pickup and you have a nice deep lineup, very well done! Grats. Now don't go getting another 103 points or anything..you don't want to overdo it, and top ten is over rated anyways...you wouldn't like it up here, its intense. Primal Optimist
For Calgary and Carolina, the two teams that moved up a spot most recently, updated standings fresh from this morning. Carolina moved into a playoff spot, and it will be a dogfight to the end for those wildcard spots in the east, while out west Calgary moved down one spot in the draft order to 3rd, pending the lottery. It gets interesting at both ends from here on out. Primal Optimist
Now that we have passed the deadline, I have to say I was gearing up hard to survive the first round against Washington, but it could be anyone of four teams finishing anywhere from 2nd to 5th in the Metro Division! Just 113 points separate Pittsburgh and the Rangers, with Washington and Carolina wedged in the middle. Four teams, 113 points, three playoff spots. When the music stops, did I do enough to ensure I have a seat?

The Off Start in October/November and a totally disapointing and longterm injured Stephen Weiss, the Up and Downs from Marin Erat, the slow recovery from Bergenheim and missing Karri Ramo the past Weeks are the Main Reasons. When i thought about Mismanagement in early December i was wrong because the Team moved up since January and i think the Blues have a good Group of Players. 2014/15 we want to try it again...hopefully with a 100% Healthy Roster...there is potential in this Team. Caboose
Huge night for the Wild helps us pull ahead of the Jets. The playoffs are all but guaranteed in Minnesota, the real question is who do we get in round 1? I am praying each day not to play Vancouver. greensman
League Update GM`s of the CDCGML, Recent trade deadline issues for the Florida Panthers have been the tireless discussion of your executive team since the deadline passed. We are actively seeking an amicable resolution, and have already engaged in communication with the involved GM. During this short period of review, we ask that all GM's to keep up their good work, while the league works to find resolution. Also, we would like to ask for GM`s to refrain from public judgements and inflammatory statements until such time as the solution, which we are all actively working on, is publicized. Any GM`s with comments or concerns related to this issue, or any other for that matter, should contact an exec via PM, so that we can address them. We will have a response for publication as soon as possible. As always, we appreciate your professionalism, patience and understanding. We are confident that a non dramatic fix is achievable, and that we can positively move forward towards a fun and exciting race to the cup! canuck2xtreme
Thanks for beating me to that greens. First off I'd like to apologize to every single one of our members for the delay in addressing this situation. I was called to work yesterday morning and only just now got home. At this point, I feel it best that I speak directly to OTTS before anything else is addressed within the thread, but I will say a resolution will be reached. The race is so tight in the 9/10/11 spots out west, you will likely find yourself one spot out of the playoffs by the end, well, any of the three of you could be, so it really is closer than it looks. one or two players can be the 3 or 4 hundred point difference
