Outsiders
The kid is a beauty. From the youtube video I watched 3 posts up, man he is a goal scorer, an pass really well, is unbelievably strong along the wall
saucypass
Dude has some serious skill that translated from juniors into the AHL. Can't wait for it to translate into the NHL and win some Pavel Bure Awards on the Canucks.
Maniwaki Canuck
Not a perimeter player, and strong board work despite being a bit on the small side. He has definitely translated his game to the AHL level now. One more step to go. Love this kid.

nergish
It's so cool, it's like each goal is a new adventure for him. isn't it great to see? I know he's not the same type of player, but in the offensive end he reminds me of Burrows. Hard on the puck and can get a shot off from anywhere (not to mention a great backhand). Loves to contribute. What's even better is that his potential ceiling is far higher than Burrows' ever was.
MJDDawg
I apologize for ending the last sentence with a preposition. No worries. It's the dangling participles that get's CDC all worked up.

desiboynux4lifee*******
I wish hunter can start shooting the puck more. But now I see him trying to skate around the net, but before he use to let a lazer shot go. I wish he gets back to playing like this, because he is suppose to be a shooter, I personally don't know if Green made him make this adjustment but when he tries going around the net in the NHL it will be shut down. For instance, against the Monarchs we saw him get shut down when ever he tried to skate around the net with speed. I hope he goes back to being a shooter because that is what he was before we drafted him. Hunter's a guy that can surprise us next year because he knows how to score goals but this year in the AHL I expected better numbers from him, so a year in the AHL won't hurt him because he needs to hit that 50 point mark in the AHL. Scorvat
^ That 2-2 goal against the Sharks gave me butterflies. Cannot wait to see him on the nucks!!!

rawkdrummer
One thing Shink has going for him is you get the impression that he really loves playing. Sometimes when you talk to some of these professional guys they look at things more like business and the sheer fun of playing a game seems like a distant memory. When you see Shinkaruk play you don't see any of that. Even when he is on the bench he has a huge smile going. That's the kind of guy who is going to go out with 25 pucks by himself and try and hit the crossbar ten times in a row just because. Easy kid to root for. I apologize for ending the last sentence with a preposition. Torts could take that smile off his face! Thank goodness he's gone.
thejazz97
How many goals against with that D. Right now, about 7 PPG. Give it a few years, it might get down to about 4? But keep in mind, we'd be scoring about 4 PPG as well.

thejazz97
I've said this before, Hunter Shinkaruk will be a better goal-scorer than McDavid. McDavid may be better overall and get more points than Shink, but there will come a season (if not more) where Shinkaruk outscores McDavid. Erik Karlsson
I've said this before, Hunter Shinkaruk will be a better goal-scorer than McDavid. McDavid may be better overall and get more points than Shink, but there will come a season (if not more) where Shinkaruk outscores McDavid. That is a very random post. Also, I kind of doubt it, unless Shink has a career year and McDavid has a down year. McD is going to be averaging 30+ goals a season imo.
