-Vintage Canuck-
Agent: Jagr wants to play for Canadiens: Jaromir Jagr is interested in playing for the Montreal Canadiens, according to his agent, Petr Svoboda. Based on a loose translation, Svoboda told Louis-Andre Lariviere of TVA Sports the following: “Jaromir always wanted to play in Montreal, insisted the agent. We discussed with (Canadiens GM) Marc Bergevin yesterday. The interest is mutual, but the decision is now up to the (team).” “Jaromir liked what he saw in Montreal this year. He would like to contribute to their success,” added Svoboda. In 45 games last season split between the Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins, the 41-year-old winger registered 16 goals and 19 assists. Jagr helped the Bruins through the Stanley Cup playoffs, tallying 10 assists in 22 games. The Bruins fell to the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 6 of the Cup final. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/agent-jagr-wants-to-play-for-canadiens/

CB007
Jagr is interested in playing for any decent team who can give him the big bucks.
PlayStation
Looking for his 7th of 30 stops in 30 different citys. I wish we land him before he hits 55 years old!!
Mike Vanderhoek
He wanted to join Montreal previously and the same management group was not interested at that time, well he would add size, reach, puck distribution anyways. Slowing down for sure though.
qwijibo
He and Plekanec have a lot of chemistry. But Bergevin passed on him last year and I suspect he'll pass on him again
Ghostsof1915
He'd fit Montreal better than he'd fit in with the Bruins. Boy, that would make those Canadiens/Bruins games more interesting.

Bijannucksfan
why is Jagr still playing? He has made over $100 million over his entire career.
Hank Moody
Because everyone plays solely for money, right Bijan? "Oh well bryzgalov just got bought out and is making a ton of money so he should probably just retire "

DownUndaCanuck
Montreal have already done well for themselves this off-season, if they snag Jagr look-out. Briere is a true playoff performer, as is Jagr. They will create some serious havoc in the post-season.
Coconuts
He could fit in nicely with the Habs, and they would love his size. Like someone already mentioned though, it would make games against Boston pretty interesting.
Ilya Mikheyev
GMMB better be doing all he can to fit a player like Jagr in, considering Jagr has gone to the media saying how much he would love to play for them. They might have to move 1 contract.. but come on, it's Jaromir Jagr who has proven chemistry with anybody, but esp. Tomas Plekanec. And on top of that, he's played on the same team as Briere before. Adding two stars like that who have proven to have an extra gear in the playoffs will do wonders for them. Not to mention they could use Jagr's size.
