Amish Rake Fighter
With the influx of all the new chefs (not to mention all the young locals) and the food truck explosion, Vancouver has become one of the better places on the planet for variety and quality of food. Ghostsof1915
My wife and I actually had our first date at Zefferelli's. We were definitely thinking of stopping by again. However, we have heard that the food is not as good as it was 11 years ago. Definitely leaning towards Tojo's.
trek
Breakfast: Tomahawk Restaraunt in North Vancouver (if you're heading towards Grouse Mountain or Cap Suspension bridge). $12 for SOOOO MUCH FOOD...
Green Building
Chambar is always great. They have outstanding mussels, a good wine/spirits/drinks list, and an even better beer list. Mussels Congolaise for the win every time. And have the Foie Gras to start.

Gustavo Fring
You have to hit up the mickey d's on terminal. It has a fantastic selection as well as a calming ambience.

taxi
Coming to Vancouver in two weeks (been about 2 years since my wife and I were last there). So far we have a reservation at Cin Cin for dinner, but was also looking at what other restaurants people recommend for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are also thinking about Tojo's (anyone been?). Monty
Well, thanks for the advice everyone. Leaving Saltspring Island tomorrow morning, having dinner at Diva at the Met tomorrow, then Blue Water Cafe on Friday night. Any breakfast and lunch places downtown Van that my wife and I should hit up?

:D
I've been thinking about the fact that you work at Four Season :D. I would skip Diva, except for the fact that we have a $100 gift certificate there. As for Blue Water, chose it because I want really good seafood. Living in Manitoba, we don't get fresh seafood often (except lake fish). Been getting great fish on Saltspring so far. Went fishing for 4 hours and caught 8 Pink Salmon. Also had fresh crab straight out of the traps. Awesome so far!
Monty
You'll be thrilled with the service, too. Great pick.
Monty
I don't have much pull in the restaurant so I can't get you a deal, but think about them for Breakfast or Brunch http://www.yewseafood.com/menus/breakfast/
:D
Lobster Bennie, not because it is one of the more expensive, but because everything I've ever eaten at YEW with Lobster was SO GOOD.
