Switch Edler with Bieksa and switch Colborne with another TO prospect or either a Round 1 or 2 pick. Then it would be fair deal for both sides. The reason Edler wouldn't fetch as much as you're thinking is term. He is a UFA next year. If we did a sign and trade, then he would have A LOT more value, but he might not want to do that, and unless your name is Sturm I don't think Gillis would do that. Which side would need to throw in picks to even it out? Philly needs to ditch salary, and if we could get Voracek to replace Booth by taking Mezaros in a salary dump, then we might have a good trade on our hands.
