Franz Liszt
To NY Rangers: Alexander Edler, Yann Sauvé, Jordan Schroeder + VAN 2014 1st To Vancouver: Dan Girardi, Michael Del Zotto & Chris Krieder Edler + 1st = Girardi + Del Zotto Schroeder + Sauvé = Krieder Our Defense: Hamhuis Bieksa Garrison Girardi Del Zotto Tanev Fistric? Weber, Corrado - Gain more cap space to fill other holes Their Defense: Edler McDonagh Staal McIlrath Moore Stralman Bickel, Johnson, Sauvé - Could possibly change our 2nd into a 1st - Rangers get some cap space for an extra forward and/or defenseman
harmer
Our defense would be stacked with this deal because we would then have 6dman capable of playing in the top four and it would no question be the best in the league but I do not think nyr would make this trade

Super_Canuck
They didn't even wanna imclude Kreider in the Nash deal, they certainly won't do it for this offer

wallstreetamigo
The Rangers would never do that deal. I wish AV was in charge of trades. Then we could get those 3 guys for just Bieksa.
Wiznac
I think Tanev has earned the right to challange for a top 4 spot

kanucks25
When making trade proposals you should probably consider the needs of the other team, not just the Canucks. Makes no sense for the Rangers to lose a top-4 D-man (net) and get no offensive help in return. Their strength is defense + goaltending. This trade weakens their defense and strengthens nothing. Drouin
Maybe if we throw in another roster player. Unless we suck next year and our pick is a top-5/10 which is highly unlikely
Wiznac
Also Schreoder had way to high value in that trade
