Kooner91 Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 We want someone big, physical, and can play? This guy fits that perfectly. He's listed at 6'5", 243lb. He hits hard, fights, kills penalties, isn't afraid to stick up for teamates. Plays both center or right wing. He has played under Torts before in NY, so he should know what to expect. He has a cap hit of 1.5mil, which would make him a tight fit, but that is Gillis' and Gilman's job to make it fit. A 4th line of Santiorelli-Richardson-Rupp would be tough to play against for almost any team, and is a huge upgrade from having Weise or Sestito in the line-up.
