TrevorLinden4ever
So far we've signed Richardson, Santorelli, Pelletier and a trio of depth chart defenceman. Some of these signings have had professional experience within international leagues and have fought it out in the minors. Compared to past aquisitions/ signings of high priced players, I think these moves are high in value. It gives us veteran players with leadership qualities, and most importantly, players who are hungry to stick in the bigs and contribute. With a coach known to push the buttons at key times and up the ante, I think having players in the depth chart of our roster will provide a competitve attitude, as opposed to having high end shoe-ins throughout the lineup. Alexander.Edler
Richardson's okay, Santorelli's a gamble, and Pelletier is a lifetime AHLer.

Brick Tamland
MG has to fill out the AHL roster plus plug some major holes at the NHL level all while being butted up against the cap. I would not want his job today. He has a disgruntled Luongo with no other #1 goalie in sight, a porous defense and add to that the cap space issue and I think we will see the first 2 NHL lines being solid and the 3rd and 4th lines being filled by rookies and journeymen. I believe we finish 7th in the conference and get knocked out in the first round by Dallas.
Raspberries
Personally I could do without Gillis signing one more player until he gets Tanev signed. I know these players are not signing for huge dollars but we don't have a whole lot left at this point, do we? If he lets Tanev walk I for one will be blowing a gasket. smurf47
We certainly have not addressed in any way our lack of secondary scoring...we look like we are losing more scoring in Raymond....not a very promising scenario. MG is filling roster with fringe NHL players.

Plaguez
People seem to forget that Santorelli had 20 goals, which is within the same profile as Raymond. Has anyone ever thought that perhaps his lack of playing time contributed to a fall in production? People keep saying we need to get bonifide goal scorers...but we also need to bare in mind the high priced disapointments.
