Kelly Green
shea signed the philadelphia offer sheet on july 19 last year , is it one year from that date or from the day nashville matched it ( july 24 ? ) that the predators are allowed to trade him ? Xbox
July 24th Keep in mind that the first year was so loaded because PHI wanted to deter NSH from matching. I don't think they will trade Weber after paying him over 20M in just one year.
NucksBruins
There is zero chance that Nashville trades him. They just drafted Seth Jones, plus Josi developed nicely last season. Along with Weber, their blueline is set for a decade or longer.

peaches5
He has no spot on this team. He is a top 6 offensive defensemen but we got Hamhuis,Garrison,Edler,Bieksa,Tanev,Corrado,Weber.
Frogger009
I like how people are calling the cap-recapture the "Luongo" rule. Look at the back-loading at this deal... wow.

Kooner91
Here is all everyone needs to know about the Weber contract. Nashville won't be able to hold on to Seth Jones in 6 years time because of it. End of story. Cash poor team never spends money at all, Jones will get Weber money or better depending on his ceiling (which is sky high) The Weber contract, is a team killer. Kubrick
They will have some talent that gets off their ELC contracts before Jones. With the likes of guys like Forsberg, Jussi etc.. Along with Webers contract... Offer sheet Jones!
