VAN_FAN_MATT
Connor Rankin is player I hope the Canucks invite to Training Camp in Sept. Rankin a North Vancouver native, who was ranked 98th overall among North American skaters, surprisingly went undrafted at last weekend's NHL Entry Draft in New Jersey. He's a player who skates well, is physical, has decent offensive skill, and can defend himself well in fights. HockeyDB profile - http://www.hockeydb.....php?pid=130693 WHL profile - http://www.whl.ca/roster/show/id/947 prospect article from 2010 http://www.examiner....s-connor-rankin He's a player I believe the Canucks should be interested in. If he does get a camp invite, I'm certain he'll make a good impression with the Canucks brass.
Disaronno
Plays left wing, which is a position our prospect pool lacks. I am all for it.

Mr.53
Is there a reason nobody drafted him? Like bad character or something?
Matthew Lombardi 18
Gillis and company have difficulty picking up players in their own backyard, apparently. I think Jay Feaster missed out on Shinkaruk. What the hell?

canucklax
I'm not sure a player has to attend a camp he is invited to. I think players have a choice of which camp to attend, that is if he gets more than one invite.

canucklax
Wonder if a player can pass over one invite that he's accepted for another.
VAN_FAN_MATT
Haha anything is possible I guess, but I'm pretty sure he went over all the offers he got and chose pittsburgh

Ilya Mikheyev
Curtis Valk ripped it up in the W last year, but he's tiny. The Canucks should give him an invite just to help Shinkaruk with the transition. Heck, just invite Ty Stanton and Spenser Jensen too, who were both Tigers' defensemen who stand at 6'4 (one LHed and one RHed) and were born in '95, and see how they do. Salmonberries
Talented family. Is he a baritone? We could use a baritone, especially a left-hander.
DeltaSwede
I would invite as many prospects I could if I were the Canucks. Find some gems, increase the competition for spots, and potentially get "free" prospects.
