TheRussianRocket.
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=677256 Milan Hejduk has been with the same organization ever since the Quebec Nordiques selected him in the fourth round (No. 87) of the 1994 NHL Draft. The 37-year-old right wing broke into the NHL with the Colorado Avalanche in 1998 and has scored 375 goals and 430 assists in 1,020 games – all with the Avs. But, it appears the next goal he scores will be for another club. Adrian Dater of The Denver Post reported Monday that Hejduk would like to continue his playing career, but the Avalanche are no longer interested in his services. Hejduk, who had four goals and seven assists in 29 games for Colorado in 2012-13, is an unrestricted free agent. "He wants to keep playing," Hejduk's agent, Jiri Crha, told the paper. "If there is any team that really wants to use him for his offensive skills, he still believes he could do it. "They are very honest about their different plans. They don't believe he can play in their top six of forwards. We just saw a player (Daniel Alfredsson in Ottawa) who left after 17 years with the same team. That's the reality of the hockey life." Hejduk has reportedly received offers from other clubs over the past week, but Crha told Dater that his client will only sign for the right price. Hejduk made $2 million in 2012-13. "He's not going to take some (minimum) salary. It could be a contract with bonuses or something like that, if he achieved them then it's fair to both sides. But we'll see, as I said there is no rush," Crha said.
мeтpо
Rather have Raymond. He'd be cheaper and the more useful and younger player

canucklax
Sad to see him leave Colorado, especially with 2 former teammates being in control of the team I could see him going to anaheim if selanne doesn't come back.

DeNiro
Always thought the Sedins and Hejduk would have been a fit. Unfortunately that likely would have worked better 5 years ago, not now.
Crom!
...cue the MG sign Hejduk proposals. Though doubtful he signs, he would be a good fit on the 2nd line with Kesler setting him up. Anywhom wherever he signs, I wish him the best. One of the best players on and off the ice ever. Veteran player who's been committed to one franchise his entire career - kudos. Dion Phaneuf
He can basically be a Mike Knuble for a team. My guess is New York (Rangers).

timberz21
For same money i'd take Jagr or would have taken Briere. But for 2M or less i'd try Hedjuk, but I doubt he signs for that amount

RunningWild
Wow, can't believe he's leaving. Not surprising Col didn't think he could play in their top 6, his underlying #"s are absolutely brutal. Some of the worst I've seen. Hopefully Gillis passes.
