A.A.A Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 As a nurse, I've had to put NG and feeding tubes into countless patients.. it's not really painful, it's just feels uncomfortable. The worst part is when the tube is passing through the nose, once it hits the back of the throat, it's fine. I've never had anyone react in such distress.. maybe I'm just good at it lol.
