thad
MPS had the bad luck of having hall and Ebs kick ass right away. It skewed everyone's perception of him. He's still a good player and fits at Louis perfectly. The big blues just got bigger in the future. This kids gonna break out sometime and should be a staple in their top six for years to come once he does. Getting a second rounder is just a bonus. Perron is a good player and better than mps right now but they need to she'd cap space and got a great return for him. Redundant prospects for solid player.of need. Great trade for both sides

DeNiro
Wow great trade for the Oilers. Perron is way better than Paajarvi
Master Mind
Definite upgrade for the Oilers, as long as Perron can stay healthy. Everyone was expecting Berglund or Stewart to be the odd man out in St Louis. Guess not.
Dion Phaneuf
Paajarvi couldn't have been traded to a better team in terms of being a fit. He needs to be on a big, physical team to succeed IMO...and I think that he'll start putting up numbers again...similar to his rookie season. However, Edmonton is the winner in this deal, they needed another feisty player in the top 6 (Hall being the other). Their top 6 is very small though, not exactly ideal unless they're hoping to become the next Chicago Blackhawks (unlikely).
Darkstar
Jesus, that is a tiny top 6. They won't get far without some more size.
Danthecanucksfan
Looks like Berglund stays. Edmonton easily wins the trade.

marleau_12
So they trade away Perron for crapty Paajarvi so they can have Roy instead. LOL at that
marleau_12
It does when they play a team like LA and they slow the game down with their physicality.

DeNiro
Maybe. But look at the Hawks. Blew past LA with speed and skill. But I agree, they need a big guy
