TheRussianRocket. Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 Well deserved. I remember after his ELC expired, people expected Duchene to sign big money like how everyone does now. Instead, he took a 2 year deal worth $2.5 mill per making it easy on ownership and the team. He proved himself even more and now that that contract has expired, he deserves this money and it's solid too if that rumour is true. He's the Avs go to player on the PK and the PP; lead all forwards in shot blocks, lead team in takeaways; best faceoff man on the team. Not even a ridiculous 8 yr term... I'm surprised.
